Recognised today as one of the great masters of modern architecture, Alvar Aalto originally designed Bar Stool 64 for the Artek brand he co-founded with Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen & Nils-Gustav Hahl. The eternally contemporary Bar Stool 64 is still as versatile and relevant today as it was when launched in 1935 and continues to grace kitchens, cafes, bars, and offices around the world. Symmetrical and non-directional, Bar Stool 64 is well-proportioned and features a sturdy birch foot ring. Made in Finland & designed to Aalto’s original system of standard components, these stools are part of a wide suite of compatible Artek products.
