Wilkhahn Tan Leather Office Chair

Wilkhahn has been designing office and conference seating in Germany since 1907. The brand became internationally recognised when Klaus Franck and Werner Sauer developed the FS-Line, the world's first chair with a one-piece flexible seat shell and an auto-balancing tilt mechanism.

This innovation introduced Wilkhahn's defining philosophy of "sitting without a driving licence," where the chair responds naturally to the body's movement rather than requiring manual adjustment. That same engineering approach still underpins the brand's seating today, built to last for decades with every component designed to be repaired or replaced rather than discarded.

This chair reflects that same considered design. It features rich brown leather upholstery across a softly contoured seat and backrest. The base is a brushed aluminium 5 star design mounted on smooth rolling castors, allowing for easy movement around a workspace.
